Meet Dr Lindsay Mumma
Dr. Lindsay Mumma wrote Your Pelvic Floor Sucks because a kegel still seems to be the only thing that people know about the pelvic floor (including many doctors that she talks to). She thought about writing a book for her colleagues, but decided that everyone needed to know the basics of pelvic floor function and dysfunction.
Dr. Mumma is a practicing chiropractor and the owner of Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC, a multidisciplinary practice she opened in 2012 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with the Clinical Excellence Award. She teaches continuing education for the Motion Palpation Institute and moveMentors.
Her private practice focuses on rehabilitative chiropractic care across the lifespan and with a specific focus on prenatal and postpartum health.
She is a wife, mother to two boys, speaker, life enthusiast, and author of The Trimester Series and the Substack publication Dr. Lindsay Mumma’s Newsletter.
