Through a combination of lecture, case studies, and hands-on training, participants will gain a deep understanding of the pelvic floor’s anatomy, physiology, and common dysfunctions, as well as how to manage these cases.

Learn to identify and assess pelvic floor dysfunction using a whole-body approach
Develop skills to implement effective exercises and manual therapies to improve pelvic floor function

Pelvic floor muscle exercises and relaxation techniques
Soft tissue and myofascial release techniques
Spinal and pelvic joint mobilization and manipulation
Breathing and diaphragm exercises based on principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

Meet Dr Lindsay Mumma
Dr. Lindsay Mumma wrote Your Pelvic Floor Sucks because a kegel still seems to be the only thing that people know about the pelvic floor. After her book became a best-seller, she created Your Pelvic Floor Sucks: The Course to help providers bring the principles in the book into treatment rooms.
Dr. Mumma is a practicing chiropractor and the owner of Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC, a multidisciplinary practice she opened in 2012 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with the Clinical Excellence Award. She teaches continuing education for the Motion Palpation Institute and moveMentors.
Her private practice focuses on rehabilitative chiropractic care across the lifespan and with a specific focus on prenatal and postpartum health.
She is a wife, mother to two boys, speaker, life enthusiast, and author of The Trimester Series and the Substack publication Dr. Lindsay Mumma’s Newsletter.
